The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga) def. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton in a Street FightThe two teams brawled before the bell, leading to Nick Aldis coming out and making it a Street Fight. It would have been a very good match regardless, but the stipulation made it even better. They made excellent use of it by taking their fight all over the arena and had an incredible opener. Everyone was expecting Jacob Fatu to arrive and aid Bloodline to victory, and as awesome as that would have been, Tanga Loa (Tonga's Guerrillas of Destiny tag team partner from New Japan Pro-Wrestling) debuting was a cool surprise. This was a stellar start to the show.

Drew McIntyre def. Seth "Freakin" Rollins to Win the World Heavyweight Championship; Damian Priest Cashed in His Money in the Bank Contract on McIntyre to Win the World Heavyweight ChampionshipPerfection! Everything about this was perfectly executed. McIntyre vs. Rollins wasn't the same caliber of match they had back at Crown Jewel or even on the Day 1 edition of Raw, but it was what it needed to be and certainly never boring for as long as it lasted. McIntyre beating a weakened Rollins made sense and I would have been satisfied with him winning a world title in front of fans for the first time, but CM Punk (who sat in on commentary) attacking McIntyre and Priest subsequently cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase was brilliant booking. I didn't know how they could pull all of that off and have it work as well as it did, but they managed to nail it. Priest failing his cash-in would have been a career killer for him, so I'm happy they did him justice.
Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley def. Becky LynchIn an alternate universe where The Rock doesn't return and other factors aren't at play, this would have been the perfect Night 1 main event. However, it made for an excellent opener as well. It lived up to my lofty expectations and it had its fair share of suspenseful moments thanks to the unpredictable outcome. I assumed Lynch would win, so I was pleasantly surprised when Ripley retained. Motionless in White playing Ripley to the ring for her entrance was a nice touch.
